Pāṇini’s grammar is a machine: start from a base and affixes, apply rules in order, and the finished word comes out the other end. A prakriyā is that step-by-step run. प्राकृया यानी नियम-दर-नियम शब्द का बनना।
When a result page shows the Verified derivation badge, our engine actually ran that machine and the output matched your name letter-for-letter. The collapsible trail on the page lists every step, and each sūtra number you see was read from that very trail — we never type rule numbers in by hand, because a hand-typed citation is exactly the kind of unverifiable claim this site exists to replace.
When the machine can’t reproduce a word within our search budget, we say “partial”, with the count of unexamined candidates — never “not found”. A limit on our computing time is not a fact about Sanskrit.
